The Little Play Patch was born when two worlds collided… Nicole aka Mirabella’s Play Café, and Claire & Amanda aka POP! Parties and Events joined forces when they realised something was missing in the world of children’s play. Most mobile role play setups were big, bulky and tricky to hire, and they knew there had to be a better, stylish, more boutique way.
Nicole brings her experience running a soft play café, while Claire and Amanda have a background in events, plus nursery experience, giving a unique understanding of how children learn, explore and love to play.
Claire is a qualified Level 3 nursery practitioner, and all three of us hold DBS certificates. Amanda and Claire are also paediatric first aid trained and safeguarding certified, so parents can relax knowing children are in safe, professional hands. The result? A beautifully designed, boutique mobile role play world that fits anywhere, sparks imagination and is perfect for children aged 0–6.
They’re obsessed with tiny details, playful surprises and making every hire feel special. The goal is simple: to create a space where children can explore, pretend and have fun, while parents can relax knowing the experience is thoughtful, safe and full of charm.

The Little Play Patch is a boutique mobile role play village for children aged 0–6, designed to be set up in homes, schools, nurseries, playgroups and more. Each setup is beautifully styled with miniature play zones - from a market stall and a vet’s surgery, to a construction site and beyond. Every corner sparks creativity, curiosity and independent play, giving children a space to explore, imagine and have fun in a warm, welcoming environment.

The sessions are designed for children aged 0–6, but siblings of all ages are welcome to join in. We often have a book corner and toys for little ones under 12 months, as well as colouring and other activity areas such as messy play sessions that older children can enjoy too, so everyone can play, explore and have fun together.

Yes. The Little Play Patch is not a childcare service, and parents or guardians are responsible for their children at all times. For peace of mind, our team are enhanced DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained and safeguarding certified, and there will always be a qualified childcare practitioner on hand to guide activities when needed. While we provide a safe and welcoming space, we do not take responsibility for supervising children - adult supervision is required throughout the session.

Session lengths depend on the venue and will be specified when booking, giving children the right amount of time to explore, play and enjoy the boutique role play world at their own pace.

We’re unable to offer refunds, and as our diary can book up quickly, we may not always be able to move your booking. However, if there’s any availability, we’ll always do our best to reschedule your hire or venue session where possible.
